Tiny thing but for a while I actually thought they were a secret mod because I could tell from our thread that they had read my app. It's a small gesture that's easy to take for granted but I respect them a lot for it.

basically, Tumblr added an update last month that filters nearly all posts (save for some whitelisted sites like Pateron, Youtube, etc.) from the site's search results if they contain an external link.

there is a workaround where you can still link to 3rd party sites, however it's tedious to do especially if your blog relies on using a ton of external links in its posts:

Tumblr hasn't made any official statements on the new site changes so I have no clue if they plan to fix this problem.

Dead on the non live action side unless I was just never looking in the right places. Nearly every game if you bring in a character without a "real person" face will make you pick a pb. There's the odd person in fandom_psls looking for non LA stuff but it's rare.

are they using different icons for all 52 of those posts? maybe they're testing out something?

i read this as "the other player wanted my character to help theirs, but the way my character helps isn't what the player wanted so they're being a brat and forcing their character ooc"

So I've noticed DW tools has a thing built in where you can have an Imgur album of extra icons and it'll stick one in-line with a comment. I've gotten the feeling in the past (back in LJ days) that this was generally considered a tacky thing to do in tags. Is that still the case? Why?

i don't know, i think that even if it was a simple mistake and there was nothing to it they still helped run someone out of dwrp and wouldn't own up to it.

yep this is basically what I meant. My character is sort of harsh. He was trying to be sensible in advice with the other player's character. The other player didn't like what my character had to say to theirs, so their character got defensive and "well you only think about yourself so blehbleh"

this sort of weasel wording is what I'm talking about. isn't "run out of dwrp" an exaggeration? plenty of people have been banned from games, sometimes multiple times, and are still trucking. she was banned from this particular game and that sucks, but the wording "run out" implies a concentrated effort from the mods or whoever to blacklist her from everything. if she left it was of her own accord

we're unlikely to agree on this point so i'm not going to continue to argue with it. this is all i wanted to say

from the looks of things the mods aren't actually looking into anything being sent to them. they've admitted they had people come to them with info, but so far haven't done anything with it afaik.

so they're probably hoping stuff blows over and won't address the issue at all.
