I work a more-than-full-time job and a part-time job and don't have time to RP, play videogames or watch television anymore, and it's making me resent all the people on my plurk timeline who are still in school or unemployed or work normal hours and have time to do fun things.

Seriously though, hope you find a job soon, anon, as bitter as I am to be overworked I remember how discouraging and unpleasant unemployment was and wish you the best.

I get severely depressed when I don't work full time. I feel useless and hopeless.

Would much rather be annoyed at having a bit less free time than wanting to kill myself for having too much.

my main fandom's having a meltdown, my rp partner's too busy to tag our psls this week, my game is on standby until the new event, and this is the second tagout i've done in two days that's gone ignored while the players blithely repost to new memes.

it's like life wants me to focus on rl priorities or something.

I've been underemployed for several months and it fucking blows, but in the past I've been overworked and it was absolute murder on my physical and mental health. I hope your work life balance changes for the better soon, anon :(

I've been unemployed for a very long time (aside from the random temp odd job). I have a foot problem that makes it excruciatingly painful to stand for long periods of time, so I need a job where I can sit. And I can't land one. Half the time it's because I'm not qualified enough, the other half I just get rejected without being told why or never called back. Family's providing me with food and shelter, but I have zero money for anything else.

i went to college for several years but didn't graduate due to mental health issues. i feel like i'm never going to be able to land enough employment to sustain myself independently without that degree, am in debt, and feel like shit.

my roommates are fucking slobs and I have to clean up after them and their horrible pets like I'm their mother, but I can't afford to live without them so I'm going to have to keep doing it for the next few years at least

i'm 26 years old and becoming more bitter and lonely with each passing month. i know what i could do to improve my life, but fear of failure and anxiety hold me back. i'd rather remain stagnant forever than risk unbearable unhappiness, and the fact that i've gone from someone with ambitions to someone who doesn't even like going outside to get the mail anymore is so frustrating. but it's still not frustrating enough to make me change.

Just Internet tough guys. My timeline was full of people who acted as if they were honest and genuine but turns out they were the biggest shit talkers ever. Thinking about it from time to time gets me bitter but i check myself when I realize they have no job and is understandably never going to really go anywhere in life.

But man, those fleeting moments of bitterness.

rp friend who i enjoyed playing with for the past year+ and talked with regularly about our cr and fandom things and rl stuff is preoccupied with new cr in a new game and doesn't have time for me anymore.

i feel stupid for feeling this way, but it really, really hurts.

i feel really, really down about a lot of things lately and i would sort of like to find a therapist to talk to, but i've been to three in the past dozen years and the consensus with each was that i don't need therapy.

one of the things i'm down about is not being able to form or keep meaningful relationships with people or have anyone to help me when things get rough, so the thought of trying to seek help from someone who won't even let me pay them to listen to my problems is just. crushing, honestly.

i feel completely worthless.

I learned recently that a good rp friend of mine only dated another mutual friend in a attempt to sabotage the ship the other friend and I were working on a year ago because the good friend wanted to force a ship with me (after rejecting said ship).

Now they broke up, the good friend dropped, but they did such a good job forcing the other friend and I to friendzone our CR that we can no longer go where we left off. Decided to reset my character's in-game development of the past year to avoid hindering the new ship the other friend is cultivating with someone else. It sucks to feel bitter over this. Petty, even.

My new game is a lot slower on average than the last one I was in. Tag thirst is slowly consuming me.

i'm the only female where i work (which happens to be where i live), and the guys that also work/live here are fucking idiots. we have rules and guidelines we have to follow (like making sure that someone who's coming to visit has a government id with their photo on it) and i'm pretty much the only one who actually does my job. and i'm 'the bitch', because i won't let someone just have something for free or let them and their sketchy crack addict friends with no id up to do drugs or any other little thing that just frustrates the shit out of me that the others do because they're lazy, drunk, stoned, inept, or all of the above. on top of that, because i'm 'the bitch', every little problem winds up being told to me by residents because they somehow expect me to get the people that have been working here longer than me to do their jobs.

on top of all of that, i tried to get a professional firm to file my taxes for me for the last 3 years and they couldn't because the person doing it didn't speak english, their equipment was shit, and all my info kept glitching in a really weird way. the post office doesn't have the forms for the past years (even though they should), and i got the forms for this year and cried looking at them because i'm too stupid to do math.

i just want to win the lottery and go hide on an island.

My roommate doesn't fucking do anything. She doesn't work, or clean the apartment, or take care of HER CATS. She had a job and things were okay at first, but she ended up on this horrid downward spiral of mental illness. And to be perfectly frank I don't care. I do not care. She misrepresented herself completely and I'm livid that this womanbaby is sucking me dry. I'm sick of doing everything and I can't wait to move out.

training as a supervisor at my retail store and my staff are giving me SUCH a shit time. I never expected them to be on side, but I'm definitely coming to realize keeping these fucking mid-20s toddlers in line is going to be the hardest part of my job. it makes things so much more stressful for me when I'm still learning and struggling to manage my time, yet can't trust them see the most basic jobs through without me breathing down their necks. they'd rather stand around gossiping or on their phones while work piles up. it's stressing me the fuck out.

they fucked up BAD yesterday though, in a "if an auditor came in our store would have been toast" kind of way. I took photos of the job they halfassed out of laziness and forwarded it to our manager. they whined about it ofc, but hey. I need them not to get us shut down by the council more than I need them to like me. enjoy your letters of concern, assholes, I TRIED being the relatable, patient supervisor, now you're going to get the one you deserve.

my period hasn't come yet. I don't even *feel like* it's about to start, and I'm getting pretty frustrated/irrationally worried. I normally wind up starting one-two days before Clue expects me to, and now I'm one day past Clue's due date. that's not very much time at all and I HAVE been worn down lately, but gosh if it doesn't make me worry.
