why not both? Get your fun speedy fix on another site and occasionally stumble across a really worthwhile good writer that you can boomerang for months with and also rp here where its slower but your chances of high quality rp is higher. I've never understood writers in monogamous relationships with a single rp online site.

idk as someone who was willing to rp exclusively on f-list after being tired of dwrp's shit, i found out that f-list has its own shit. and now i just want to stay over here.

you're still in the honeymoon stage, probably. every rp site has its own brand of drama. it's just a matter of picking which one you want to deal with. if wherever you're rping is less stressful for you, i'm happy for you. but i won't be surprised if you come back here after a few months either, just like i did.

honestly, ANY site is better than this. i have a friend who's ESL and got chased off this site three years ago for a linguistic typo they made in their journal's profile. which they hadn't even started playing in yet, because they were brand new to the rp scene here. which tells me all i need to know about how much free time these guys have (and frankly, why there's no new blood). i like to check every now and then to watch how slowly this place is dying. it feels like poetic justice.

fyi, not everyone is a dick like that. a handful of shitty, harpy twats usually ruin it for the rest of us who are happy to play with new players and to help walk them through it. most of us remember when we were newbies and needed help. then you have the vocal minority who act like they just got birthed onto the internet in perfect form. fuck them. i'm sorry your friend got chased off. there are still plenty of people here who would happily play with them.
