This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. at least this reminds me to disable the hover menu on this newer journal, but the awkward can't be taken back...people get notifs for stuff like that, right? gd

Those notifs can be disabled though. But like above anon said, most people know it's typically accidental.

try accidentally requesting to join a game comm when you hadn't submitted an app or anything and was just shopping around the posts

naturally the mods rejected the request and im sure they figured it was just an accident, but talk about embarrassing

I actually ended up with a writing partner this way! I was scrolling a meme and the hover menu did its thing, I wrote them a 'woops' PM, they were friendly about it, we got to talking about the meme and now I've had a PSL partner for months.
