I haven't watched the second season, but the first season was amazing and ridiculous and I laughed a lot.

I'm happy if it's an interesting pitch! And I have been trying to brainstorm re: those two exact things!

For the goal of corruption, the thoughts I had so far were that:
1. They're trying to make and then break/tame super soldiers, spies, or what have you.
2.
Or 3. They honestly think they're helping the people they put through their testing by some weird surrealist logic.

For how characters are picked, I started off thinking that characters might initially sign up willingly for being a part of everything with the tests advertised as free therapy/lessons with the goal of teaching people how to overcome their hangups, strengthen their personalities, and the like, but that might rule out characters who'd play well in the game but who are in settings that wouldn't lend well to bringing them in on that setup, and not provide much IC app-in incentive for characters who'd fit into the "stage two" group.

I'm definitely way open to suggestions on both of those and more!

It really is, especially since part of my brain's going "no, don't have these feelings, they are not okay, you big jerk." (Excuse me for not liking the idea of being a lone fan again, brain.)

And yeah, it is relieving, being able to write these things out. Guess it's why anon is a thing...or something?

fate/zero had a decent anime, but lets not pretend it wasn't the kiritsugu manpain hour. it's pretty much edgy urobuchi at his finest. the only salvageable part of it was iskander and waver, whom undeniably had the best dynamic and development.

especially hate it when f/z fans say saber was better in it compared to f/sn. at least f/sn saber has a goddamn personality and nasu doesn't feel the need to shit on her character every fucking second, while still expressing her flaws in a much more nuanced way than urobuchi making iskander exposition it to the audience.

So, is anyone planning on playing from Breath of the Wild?

I expect to see some Links and Zeldas running around, but I'm kinda sad all the supporting characters are as thin as they are. I was expecting a lot more from the story in that regard. I probably shouldn't have because that's usually how supporting characters are in Zelda, but... I guess I got my hopes up.

At any rate, I anticipate trying out Link once I finish the game!

So this might be a little odd, but I've been reading up on the whole "healslut" thing and finding it kind of strangely appealing? I'm not sure how we would even work that into an RP, but it's something that I'd like to try.

Maybe just RP the in-game stuff, maybe RP two characters playing a game and doing it... not sure. Would like to play the healslut/sub. Please drop a sock!

I"d second this and make sure to also have a rule that leaves an opening to warn or ban someone who is being a shitheel in a way not covered by the rules. One big issue some mod teams have had is being unable to boot a player who is technically following the rules, but is causing problems for the mods or players despite that. You don't ever want to be caught in a situation where you can't deal with a problem player because you didn't think of whatever shitty thing they are doing and ensure you had a rule to cover that.

I'm looking to practice this guy as I dip my toes in after a long break from RP. Open to both canonmates and cross-canon/medium, as well as gen or shipping (m/m and m/f both okay), AU or OU. If Wash isn't preferable, I could try my hand at a few other RvB characters!

i wish mods would actually put in a clause where they can boot people for lack of activity, or at least have a strike discussion if someone is consistently just doing the bare minimum for months on end. and always the 'mods reserve the rights to remove players from the game without having a follow a three strikes rule.'
