One thing I'd like to know is if you'd anticipate the other gods taking sides, or if it'd only be those two going at each other while everyone else is rolling their eyes. Thematically you might want to mine the Iliad, as I think people will still get an Eachdriadh vibe from individual vs status quo.

Also may I suggest what if Posideon versus one of his other siblings, or getting him in the mix more directly? (IDK if a three way war will work but three sides could also help minimize any people who are keen to try any third party solutions.)

As a piece of advice: consider HEAVILY how much NPCing you want to do versus game size. Also, consider how to balance how people get to interact with NPCs, as any signs of favoritism can cause problems. Also, what kind of roles do you expect the NPCs to play in the game?

it's pretty medium-paced! we do have some really active players who tag super fast so sometimes it seems like it's a fast-paced game, but i've never had any problems keeping up with it even when i run into the occasional rut.

Ahalpuh is an invite-only panfandom roleplay where characters are transformed into monstrous beings who hunt, kill, and consume the best kind of prey: humans. With a focus on characters' transformations and their attempts to grapple with their newfound hunger and hunting instincts, as well as their descent into the seedy underbelly of Ahalpuh. Just don't forget: in this land, you are still the greatest horror of all. You may be the villain or the victim of this story, but that's up to you. Our focus is on the truly monstrous side of being a monster, and of the psychological strain of losing sight of what it means to be human. In world where not everything is as it seems, and underlying elements of cosmic and psychological horror, the world of Ahalpuh will grow and change through the game's monthly events with varying levels of connection to the metaplot. fanart is one thing, but it is a little tiring when the only time anime allows for explicit female gayness, it's usually laden with fanservice and often male-gazey. dragon maid isn't super bad about that, and is honestly pretty dog standard moeshit, but there is some stuff that makes people legit uncomfortable, like the sexual implications of some of kanna's dialog, and since the show introduced lucoa the fanservice has only gotten more noticeable.

you're free to enjoy it, but other people are free to be annoyed with otaku-aimed bullshit, if not outright uncomfortable with it. just stop getting upset over people not liking the thing you like and enjoy it for what it's worth to you.

im fine with people not liking it but when those same people turn around and praise shows that have similar fanservice it feels pretty ridiculous, like somehow fanservice becomes worse or more male-gazey when it's about lesbians

Chaos;Head/Chaos;Child Game Idea

I've already explained this in the last post, but since I've been into Chaos;Head and it's thematic sequel once I watched the latter's anime adaption, just hear me out on this idea once more

If you don't know, both of these Science Adventure games centered around teens with special abilities based on delusions and can summon some strange organic-like swords called Di-Swords. They also solve bizarre serial killings in Shibuya.

Basically, it's a jamjar panfandom where characters are sent into a Shibuya-like city by an unknown Gigalomaniac/being where they not only experience delusions but also crazy and messed up incidents that can traumatize them a lot. However, the player characters become Gigalomaniacs and if they encounter something traumatizing, they can manifest their own Di-Swords and use their real-booting abilities, which is another way to say an ability to project their delusions aka making them real.

That's all I can come up with and since I have no experience on modding a game before, I wonder if someone might try to bring this to life.

Well, someone just mentioned about this game more long-term than short-term, but tell me what you think and if you're interested in it.

Uh, I don't think they're complaining that the anime invented it, they're complaining that it exists. Whether or not it's in the source material doesn't change whether or not they think it's uncomfortable and gross.
