The game Space Station Silicon Valley remains one of my favourite games despite its flaws- I can forgive the steep difficulty and camera struggles for an N64 game.

It's the story of a mechanical space zoo hurtling towards Earth and the microchip who must stop it by swapping into the bodies of deceased robot animals. All of which have different abilities, controls and basic mechanics making no task quite the same.

manga: jiraishin-- a 90's hardboiled detective noir manga that doesn't pull any punches and is both beautiful and sometimes hard to read.

show: not super obscure though i feel like it didn't really get all that much press, but i'll forever be yelling about LEVERAGE, a heist-based robin hoodesque show about a group of thieves with different talents and abilities who get together to help people who's been wronged by the rich and powerful

Soooo... basically they're saying if enough sock accounts spam the mod journal they'll close the game? Obviously if people are spamming harassing comments they want the game to close, all this is doing is guaranteeing those people will keep doing it now. Should've just left it at "we're blocking anon comments and won't be responding to harassment".

These mods really aren't very smart.

I hate how most of ym friends won't shut up about how great new Zelda is when I don't like it, I've tried it and it's the most bullshit unfair, unfun Zleda game I've ever played.

Enemies hit way too fucking hard, your weapons break all the time, and unless you try to get a ridiculous amount of hearts, you're screwed because everything and I mean everything one-shots you. go dhelp you if you invest your shrines in improving the shitty stamina bar so the game's halfway bareable when it rains or, god forobid you're like me and only pick up Dungeon heart containers in Zelda games, because BoTW seems to be built from the group up to discourage dungeon container only runs. I always never bothered with pieces of heart and only got the heart containers in the dungeons, and I was able to beat every other Zelda game, sure it was a little harder but at least in ones like Wind Waker or Twilight Princess not every single enemy was one shotting you due to having less hearts because the damage scale was, you know, sensible.

Instead Nintendo is trying so hard to chase after Dark Souls dollars but making things bullshit and unfair and unfun to appeal to Souls neckbeards. I'd actually go as far to say that BoTW is even more unfair than Souls games. because believe it or not, enemies in Souls games were more forgiving! you actually had a pretty adequite dodge with i-frames to make up for the leathality, where BoTW doesn't have things like a i-frames dodge, you just have shields which break just as easily as everything else and positioning, and the thing is, some attacks are all but impossible to dodge, like for example everything the Lynel does, guardians in general, and even basic ass Lizalfos and Moblins have ridiculous attacks that are impossible to deal with, you will get hit unless you just constantly have your shield up

At least constantly having your shield up was feasable in Dark Souls because they didn't fucking break every fucking fight. Instead you had to have stamina to block and poise and all that, which works better than this shitfuck durability system. And because you constantly need your shield up as it's your only defense, every single two-handed weapon is a lemon that will just get you killed.

BoTW is the most bullshit fake difficult game I've ever played, it's even worse than DS II Scholar of the First Sin and that's saying something. Taking Zelda mechanics and trying to turn it into a Souls game was the dumbest idea Nintendo ever had, Star Fox Zero was better than this.

honestly if they spend so much time on anoncomms, how do they not understand that sci-fi/dark games attract teen/younger characters? how big a rock do you have to live under to have such a huge lack of understanding of rp culture and trends enough to say "we didn't think teenagers would app since the game has a dark theme"?

I'd love this! I actually think memloss could be a ton of fun here specifically because characters have to come to terms with the fact that they're not human in this world (and might have adopted some behaviors that their human self would be shocked by). However, OCc/AUs only would also be lots of fun!

(One bit of advice, though, idk what city you were planning on using but I'd avoid London. Undergrounds is somewhat similar and London-based already.)

I just want my adult character to have adult friends. I've been in way too many games where my character's CR was mostly teenagers because that's what the game disproportionately included. It was all well and good until bad things happened to my character for a change and there was no one they could actually turn to because like hell were they dumping that on the kids.

I think the point people are trying to make is that it's really easy to have an adults only game if the literal only criteria you're looking for is if someone's body is of age or not, but if you're trying to make an adults only game with a more mature atmosphere you'll have to do some additional filtering besides 'have they passed puberty y/n.'

but A is infinitely more exciting from canonmates than crossover, just because if I wind up being the one to write the starter, which is fine with me, I'm more confident that I can come up with something that suits us both.
