let's say you used to live in utah. most people who know you in your game know you lived in utah. then you moved to an entirely different state or country after dropping the game and losing touch with plenty of people.

someone who doesn't like you reports seeing a utah ip on their ip tracker on tumblr at a suspicious time or they got gore spam in their hmd with a utah ip. the ip address is definitely not an ip you've ever used (and if you live in a small town, it might just be from a different part of the state/country) but they gossip about you potentially starting drama because you're the only person they know from utah. even if you haven't been in utah at all in a while.

upon seeing these people gossip about you, what are your first thoughts and reactions?
