I'm a huge whore for the space genre and have been looking for a new game. futurology was my first pick, but alas, the game is already at character cap with 19 other characters in the queue, so I think I'll have to pass up on that one for now.

what other space games around right now? I'd love some recs. my only set requirement is that they accept OCs, and ideally I'd love something with a lot of opportunity for exploration. but I'm open to anything!

why should all games be open to ocs? it's not a rule. most are nowadays, which is a far cry from a few years ago.

yes, me too! considering Eluvio's mechanics, it makes sense the mods want to hold back on accepting them until the game is established and they have a better understanding of if or how they'll be able to work with them, but I definitely have my fingers crossed that they decide in favor. I admit I don't see why working with details from OC backgrounds should be any harder than it would be with obscure canon muses who lack a wiki. But I'm not the one running the game, and I'll respect their decision either way.

are there other space games beside Futurology and Eluvio, though? I was under the vague impression there were a few more than just those two.

drift fleet comes to mind. and i think there's something called the fleet too? i'm not big on space games though so i can't tell you much about how exploration-focused they are.

thisavrou changed its setting recently but maybe it still counts? it's got aliens and exploration and junk still

Station72 is technically in space, though they're dropped on different planets for missions, no actual space interaction so far.

So, I have a pokemon OC who isn't related to any main characters at all and doesn't know them that I'd really like to play in a game somewhere. Is that an option anywhere? Are there any other Pokemon games out there besides Victory Road? They don't take fandom OCs.

it's a shame bravenewworld has shut its doors. they were a pokemon-themed AU game that accepted native OCs, and it probably would have been easy to adjust an existing pokemon fandom OC into a native version.

you could try lowreaches? they're a horror game with a pokemon setting. I think they might be the only other pokemon RP game on the market right now.

so i'm planning on picking up saint martha from fate/grand order and i was wondering if there were any fate/ casts out there who wouldn't mind having her as a castmate?

any GO characters currently being played would be awesome too but really i just don't want to dive into a game on dw for the first time being a lcw lmao

recolle has artoria and nobunaga already if you're okay with a memory loss/au game.

Empatheias has a small Zero/FSN cast.

lost raiders has a pretty substantial fate/ cast, many of them from f/go!

Tentatively looking for a place to play Pharah from Overwatch. Slow/medium pace, some plot preferred - space or fantasy setting would be especially cool. No sex/murder games please. Castmates would be lovely!

You could check out

eluvio! It's a space game with a med/slow pace and pretty decent pacing for the plot. Also a little cast there if that's of interest.
