I don't think they mean the artist caring. More like, somebody you know wanders into that weird part of the internet, finds that character you play victim of that kink, connects the dots, and realizes you commissioned and like that.

Many artists won't post commissioned art if you request them not to, especially kink art. ESPECIALLY OC art, kink or not. Just ask them if they'll honor that request before you bang out any deets?? Both of my exes were insanely talented artists and one did "anything goes" kink commissions because she could rack up mad dollas and she actually had a question in her commission form specifically asking if she could post commissioned smut drawings on her website/portfolio/DevArt (or whatever her X rated site was, I forget).
