they did, but they changed it ages ago

looking at the npc page makes me glad that the bloody bones haven't appeared anywhere in ages.

In a player plurk some months ago the mods said that doing all that NPC work was too hard. And just running the two Gods is more than they can currently handle.

So all the town political stuff and the Bloody Bones are probably not going to show up ever again.

Which is honestly just fine with me.

Same here, which is why I said it. The BBs were a fun change of pace at first, but they got obnoxious after a while.

Again, I'm glad they've been put on the back burner, probably permanently.

the bloody bones were great until they stopped being an unknown menace and started trolling on the network. then they were just irritating and stupid.

tbf though, the npc doing most of the trolling was supposed to be a punkass kid

When the BBs first showed up, I thought they were going to be a temporary foe that players would defeat within a couple months, and that probably would have been cool. Seemed like some of the mods got too attached to the concept and ran too far with it, and they ended up being yet another mysterious untouchable superpower.

especially frank. i don't know what the playerbase and/or mods' fascination with frank was tbh.

They did, but after he actually won the election a couple of tender-hearted players complained that the PB was ruining their escapism, so the mods changed it rather than deal with the shaking and crying.

not sure why that's so horrible. most of us don't want to intermingle politics with pretendy funtimes, especially when we're blasted with it 24/7.

Pretty sure they changed it well before the actual election, anon. I'm not sure why you think there was shaking and crying about it.
