i love this game but sometimes it's frustrating that you can be incredibly active but everyone is still going to be clamoring to thread with some of the most inactive people while ignoring those of us who are willing and able to tag and then continue to complain that people are inactive

also, for the first one, about the only story i've ever seen for it is "ashley juggs is always number one" on the changing mirror forum. the writing's a little shitty, but idk it scratches an itch.

two things i've been considering bringing up to them:

- how are they going to monitor the loss of ooc points. no one going to self-report that their character is doing something unsavory if it means being locked out of utilizing game mechanics. it comes across as you could be very active and ic and you're still being punished oocly for not playing a celebrity or whatever. additionally this could railroad the game into some really boring sol shit because no one wants to lose points.

- clarification on how crime works in the city. i get no organized crime, but quote the faq:
"If a character commits any sort of crime in the city (as based on the plot submissions brought to us), they will be taken to court for judgment. From there a (handwaved) trial will occur in which characters will receive their sentence for their crime. Naturally, these sentences will vary from crime to crime. For instance, a murderer will be thrown into jail and sentenced to several years (or life) behind bars whereas a smaller crime such as petty thievery or shoplifting will require paying a fine and doing community service."

so any crime needs to be floated by the mods first. is there no crime in the city at all? is it a perfectly well oiled machine where everyone gets arrested (even npcs) and put through the court system for stealing candy bars, etc? must be boring as hell being a cop.

also how does anyone expect to start up in-game gangs at this rate lol

anon, 1:>1/2 is ridiculously low. that's not a reasonable expectation anymore, that's a certified sausage party. hell, you can't even claim that's normal for DWRP, since while yeah the trend tends to be more men than women in the game, the difference is rarely that huge.

imagine that your otp is together (dating/married) and sleeping in the same bed. one day, they wake up with a third bedmate, who is a clone of one of the characters.

so if your otp is alice/bob, now there's either alice/bob/alice or bob/alice/bob. none of them know wtf's going on or how to fix the situation and there's no way to tell the original and the clone apart.

depending on the situation, how does your otp react?

naming the otp is optional but i'm curious how different otps would react. like if one character would suggest a threesome or if the "twins" would accuse each other of being an imposter.

either OC or native AUs only, apps are split into two segments. the character and their history up until a certain year, set in the regular every day world.

at this point mods roll up completely random super powers that might come with horrible disfigurement or other such downsides, and the player completes the app explaining how things changed for them with their strange new powers up until the present day of the game.

the setting would probably be 5-10 years ahead from the event which caused the spontaneous development of super powers across the world seemingly randomly, maybe set in a quarantined area of the world they all get shoved or something for the sake of having all the characters in one place, maybe be ambitious and let people run around the world trying to conquer it/protect people or whatever

powers may not seem useful but all actually are, may turn you into an utter freak, some will be way better than others. players will get some room to tweak the power theyre given and maybe a small number of rerolls, but in the end you get what you get.

partially inspired by the wild cards series, my hero academia and area d in terms of what you might get. characters might hit the jackpot and get something cool like pyrokinesis or flight or invulnerability... or they might turn into a levitating dugong. maybe a good/bad scenario where they get super strength but only when theyre wet.

overarching plot about the cause of the powers, what certain groups are doing with them and their place in the world etc
