here's the deal, anon. it's significantly harder to run a game with a tiny playerbase than it is to even run a medium sized one. mods aren't obligated to double their workload for 2-5 characters when they were intending to run a game of at least 14-20.

give modding a try. you'll see what i mean.

Alec's a fun enough read, but playing with him is pointless unless it's an important plot thing for him or it's shippy, everything else gets dropped. Definitely don't ever hang anything important to your own plot or character development on his participation. Of course, that can be said of a huge number of the players and characters in this game.

Because of its size I believe that OP could have just found a nice group to play with, but they really didn't reject anyone and the mods played ridiculous favorites (to the point it was obvious who they were even before the anonymity blew up).

it's possible to RP with only a couple people. it's pointless to run a game for only a couple people. you either have a mod and a player playing alone in what is essentially a psl box, or you have a mod modding two people who might not even want to play with each other's characters, but have no choice because 'the only ones'. that's fucking lame.
