The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. As someone looking at this game, it's a plus. I hate catch-alls for events and fucking intro logs. I hate the sea of toplevels as another anon said. I hate the "comment within a day or two or you're fucked" game. I think a lack of catch alls encourages more meaningful logs to take place when people plot together, or encourages people to make their own open logs which feel easier to keep on top of.

i hope you do look more into this game. it's been great fun. and thank you for your thoughts on it. i see the point you are making and it makes sense to me. i suppose i haven't had the same experience with catch-alls as others have, so i find it interesting to see it from another pov.
