I've been in a few games over the years, and this one is definitely one of the good ones. The players have been proactive in plotting, and the mods, on top of being fun players themselves, are very accommodating toward those player plots without letting them overrun the main story.

This is also the first game I've been in where the NPCs are genuinely fun characters to thread with, and they're never the main focus over the players. As for characters, there's a variety of good guys and bad, and from all mediums. I have yet to feel any sort of medium divide. The OCs are a fun bunch, too, and range from LA PBs to drawn.

All in all, I'm very happy I joined this game! I've been in it for a while now and I am still having a blast.

I've been considering him for a while but there's a few concerns I have trying to write him out. I'm not sure how one balances coming to peace with himself as a cyborg and the statements of feeling an outcast. Some minor details too like when he joined Overwatch specifically because he doesn't seem like he has as close of ties to super early/founding members save for Mercy.

As a shot in the dark question: what are other people's ideas on any sense of feeling he may have? I've seen a few debates on perhaps some of what remains of his human body could still have touch and the cybernetics may only be able to feel pressure and tension. I'm curious what other rpers think.

i have this same problem.

my acquaintance is obsessed with getting attention for their original fiction, but their stories are just... bad. what's frustrating is that you can't point out problems in their work because they're known for kicking up a shitstorm and threatening to cut contact with you forever if they sense even a hint of criticism. all they want and expect is blind praise, and may god help you if they don't get it.

and when i say their work is bad, i'm talking like... twilight-level shit, but maybe slightly less comprehensible. speaking in terms of prose, they're not the worst i've seen, but they're nothing special. in terms of content, though... their work hugely pretentious, yet at the same time unrestrained and juvenile. their basic m.o seems to be "let's cram as many stupid cliche ideas as possible into one story but play it up like it's the most profound and genius thing imaginable". they've got this story about angels/demons/vampires/aliens (yes, all of them) and they're talking about adding a government conspiracy/time travel subplot and i'm here thinking to myself, dude, chill.

...also, did i mention all the characters are furries for no reason and some of the angels/demons are in dramatic gay hate ships with each other? i bet you think i'm making shit up now. i'm not.

Claymore. Nearly the entire main cast consists of women who have volunteered to be fused with monsters in order to fight monsters, and who constantly struggle against giving in to the monster side of them and becoming what they fight. There's an anime that covers the first few arcs of the manga.

If you make it clear that you can't handle crit, then expect your friends to ladle out only praise, not only are you doing yourself a disservice, of COURSE they are going to blow off steam somewhere before they have to go back to patting your butt for you.

If you're really serious about chasing the dream, learn to take crit or risk languishing in an eddy of lower quality writing.

idk if it'll never be NEAR canon. while i didn't notice most of this during my first watch either, there is one thing that did call my attention: keith using his hand on the machine, especially when they make a deal of needing shiro's arm for it in another scene. something fishy IS going on, so as far as fandom theories go, this on is pretty solid.
