because it's the only canon with a biblical cast that's had a viewpoint from god. so i've seen a lot of people using chuck's personality/excuses as to why lucifer's 'god' is doing what he does.

Lethevale is opening at the end of the month and looks like it's going to be pretty prose-heavy, but it's AU/amnesia and I know that turns a lot of people off.

I went out of my way to create an IC situation that would force my lackluster and honestly deadweight rp partner be a more active and responsive character in a thread only for them to spend the entire thread doing barely anything with lazy responses and then ultimately message me to ask if they can drop the thread :\

Aw, I feel you Pym anon. The character has some issues, but he was handled really well in a few series. I really loved how he was written being protective of the kids in Avengers Academy, for instance.

Are you looking for games or PSL? Because the game I play in has a handful of Marvel characters that you could probably build solid CR with, including a few that Hank is fairly friendly with in canon. I play from Marvel myself and my character hasn't interacted with him much in canon but they'd hold him in good regard because of how he's treated some of their friends.

remember when one word usernames were the rage and now they're considered try hard? Just chose the way that makes the username easiest to read clearly. We've have some unfortunate, and often funny, usernames pop up when there's more than one interpenetration on the way to break up the words.

I use a timer or Write or Die when I keep getting hung up on my writing. Just write. Then post it. Don't give yourself time to pick it apart. It's not as bad as you think.

Thank you. This is exactly why I asked. TV time is an escape for me, but it's become less enjoyable because I see so many ripped from the headlines plots. After a shooting close to my area I think I'm allowed to decide my own comfort levels on this, and I am no longer comfortable seeing this sort of thing in media and being expected to empathize with a cop beating a man against a wall for a confession.

I am well aware most of it is fictional, but some of it is based on reality, and “The following story is fictional. No actual person or event was depicted” is bullshit.

once i met a roleplayer who said that the ending of our canon was shit and she judged the mangaka because it didn't revolve around the 2 guys in her ship (and the anime producers for not changing the canon ending LOL)... when it was a story about the titular main character. in a shonen series. the ship being end-game was supposedly "optional" (yeah right) but she was upset that the titular character got "too much attention" despite him supposedly being a character she cared about.

how the fuck can you watch a series that names the mc in the title and then get pissed that the story's mainly about the mc?! tbh it wouldn't surprise me if she was lying about liking the mc just so she didn't come off as one of those "the mc is so bland, the only characters that matter are the ones in my otp!" types.
