I've got this lovely lady. Currently I'm canon reviewing, because I read the manga and that totally screwed up her voice. I don't have any plans atm, mainly because I'm busy with college. I'm willing to musebox and play around in memes, for the time being.

I only read the second chapter, personally, because as far as I know, that incident is considered canon. Everything else should be taken with a grain of salt, though.

I want to say the issues in voice were mostly the fault of shitty translation, but even then, the very tone of the manga feels poor. Out of place OOC gags just weighed things down. I couldn't stand it after awhile.

It get worse later, Ashe is turned into a bit of moe-blob, and she's just determined, but not actually as useful and strong as she was in-game. And for some reason she's really easily flustered, around Balthier. IDK, she does seem a bit off even in the flashback chapters, when Rasler rejects her, I'd expect her to call him out or something.

Yeah, I think her speaking style got lost somewhere in translation, because she's formal when around important people, but rather informal around the party.

So yeah, other than the straight up facts of the second chapter (all that stuff with Nalbina, Rassler's initial rejection, etc.) which are detailed about as much as they need to in her wikia article ANYWAY... I figure the manga can be completely disregarded.

More or less, especially since it stopped getting published at vol. 6 or right after Vossler's betrayal. I'd rather not think of what sort of train wreck it would be, if it were continued.
