Funny, my problem is that most memes screw with canon CR.

I'm not sure I understand what this means. Can you clarify, anon?

things like the sickbed meme, the away at war meme, the jealousy meme require a thought about why your character would care about the other or their situation-which is "oh, they have some form of history together". that's great, but i'd like a meme where my character and another can be total strangers-and the only ones like that recently are all smut memes

A "your characters are now thrown together/in a bind and have to help each other/have witnessed an embarrassing moment together, wat do?" sort of meme? I would be all up on that.

So what are some basic 'thrown together' scenarios?

Elevator broke down is one, but it only has so much to offer. Stuck somewhere during a natural disaster or zombie invasion is also viable and presents more to do. A vehicle could break down (planes, trains, and automobiles?) and they could have to make an emergency landing/be in the same cabin/have the opportunity to help one another.

There's "You wake up in a room together and when you step out to find you are: in an alien ship, research facility, prison, enemy base, haunted castle, insert anything I forgot here. You have to over come it with teamwork."

Is there anything blatant I'm forgetting? Anything anyone would like to add?

a new mingle meme since it's been a bit since the last one (and it's kinda dried up)

So by this I mean the premise is:

WHOOPS. Your character just got dumped in a random fantasy world! Maybe they miscast a portal spell, maybe science blew up in their face, maybe a macguffin backfired, maybe they already were in a fantasy world and just pissed off a witch or something.

Whatever the case, they have somehow transformed into a mythological creature, either as a side effect of entering super fantasy land or because they tangled with some bad magic.

Rolling options can be idk, dragon/gryphon, merfolk, taurs (centaur, cat-taur, whatever-taur because mixing it up is fun!), fae folk, beastman, unicorn, phoenix, naga, demon, elemental, oh I give up there are half a million mythical creatures out there. But I think it'd be fun, anyway.

That does sound interesting! I think it has potential.
