Two points I can think of off the top of my head: Xion is only a year old, and she wasn't made with any knowledge, so everything she knows is what she's learned on missions/the worlds she's been to, and from Axel. So she'd be lacking some basic concepts, especially social ones. (what a family is, etc.)

The second is that she's kind of emotionally stunted. She grew up thinking she couldn't feel, so she rejected a lot of her feelings in a kind of unhealthy way. She's more likely to run off and be alone then explain what she's feeling to someone. She doesn't like troubling people, but she's kind of childish so she doesn't realize when she's being selfish.

that's all I can think of atm, but I'll return to this is something comes to me.

If you don't mind me asking two questions: do you have any opinion on what her reactions to seeing Sora/Roxas/Vanitas/Ventus (or other characters like Axel, Namine, etc.) would be? Also, how social do you think she'd be after first getting into a game?

it's no problem! I actually have been playing Xion from that canonpoint, so.

Roxas and Axel are her biffles forever, no matter what happened between them, so she'd be pretty happy to see them. It depends on if they remember her or not, though, since if they don't she'd be pretty crushed. Ven would be a curiosity since he looks like Roxas, and I can see them getting along well once she gets over the intial "baw you're not actually my bff :c".

Vanitas...is Vanitas and not many characters would react positively to him. Especially because of his face coupled with his attitude, she'd probably classify him as a threat right away.

Sora is interesting, since Xion's whole existence centers around him. So I imagine she'd be excited to meet him, but at the same time, she'd be a little ashamed. She blames herself for a lot of things that aren't actually her fault because she doesn't have the greatest self-esteem (thanks Saix). So she sees herself as being at fault for Sora not waking up. She struggles with her self worth, even in the end. It wasn't a graceful sacrifice she made. She's not bitter, exactly, but she wanted to live and be happy and nothing would allow that. So she sees herself as not really worthy of anything good, despite how much she wants it.

tl;dr she would totally get along with Sora if he made the effort to befriend her, otherwise she might even try to avoid him because she's ashamed to face her past. (this is just how I see it, fyi. Other people might have different interpretations.)

okay I realized I missed some stuff!

Xion is on the shy side when it comes to new people (plus she never raises her voice in-game unless she's angry) so she'd be sort of awkward. But she also never got to really talk to people outside of the Organization, so that would be a draw for her to interact with people. She's very curious, and she'd probably default to mission mode and start exploring whatever place she got dropped in thoroughly. face-to-face works when she's got a problem to solve, because she'll focus on that rather than the other person and won't be as timid.

In terms of a game with a network, I can see her using it too because text functions are good for the socially awkward, haha.

Some other things that don't really fit in any category:

Her face. Canon is iffy on this so in my opinion it's up to the player. Personally I play her as her default appearance is a blank doll/hooded girl, and whatever anyone sees looking at her is an illusion. But since she thinks of herself as Kairi with black hair, that's what she sees in a mirror and stuff. Other people only see her as hooded unless she decides to give them the benefit of the doubt, or gets to know them enough to trust them. Then they can see her how she sees herself.

When it comes to varying appearances, I usually leave it up to the other mun. Canonmates will see either Sora or Ventus/Roxas depending on who they have a closer relationship with. If they get to know Xion for herself they might be able to see her face. Non-canonmates I generally go with blank --> black haired girl once she makes friends. Though theoretically, if a non-canonmate got to know Sora/Ventus/Roxas in-game before she showed up, they might see them instead? Overall it's up to player discretion, and what they would think is the most interesting!

I think it's perfectly fine to play her as physically a normal girl, too, especially if getting sent to a game revived her. Who knows how KH physics work, anyway.

This is also a random personality observation, but out of the two, Xion is the voice of reason for Roxas. On missions she picks things up a bit more quickly and has faster problem-solving skills. But she does have some of Sora's straightforwardness (hit it and see if something happens!) which I think is an effect of his memories. Remember, she thought she was Sora for a while. She thought his memories were hers. So some of his personality rubbed off on her, even though she's her own person. She's a lot like a mix between Sora and Ven, actually. She has Sora's bluntness and Ven's curiosity and quick wit.
