really wish the mods had said something about that on a post. people would be a lot less likely to turn into shit-flinging infants whining about their ~lost time~ if it was stated up front that hey, there was a natural disaster, the head mod might be hurt, homeless, or without power, so hold on to your tits for a little bit, kids.

i'm addicted to cooking dash and diner dash. i have some long term management games like forge of empires, bakery story, etc. plague inc is good and you can find free apps for most of your classic games (card game, 2048, etc). most of them are run on either microtransactions or ads, but i haven't found any of these excessive or invasive.

are you looking for recs on general apps, too?

In the year -1,000,000,000, rpanons might not have been here. In the year 2011, it was here, and you could post to it, and some people posted to it. Then, livejournal got rid of subject lines, and a lot of people who hadn't already moved to dreamwidth moved to dreamwidth because there were subject lines.

Honestly the subject lines was only part of the reason. The actual reason was being that igrick guy, or whatever his name was, was a complete ass to the users.

Many were willing to give it a chance, but the final product was awful.

yeah. I don't use plurk when i'm out of a game, so atp and here are basically my go-to places to look. now that I'm interested in picking rp back up, i'm finding the lack of public advertising a little frustrating. I've just been using the test drive thread lately.

i'm happy in my current games and not looking for anything new at the moment.

I'm from the UK and they're hiking fees here too, though not as ridiculous as they are over there (yet). The student loan system is measured so you only start paying anything back once you're earning a certain amount, and it's automatically calculated based on your wage and deducted from your paycheque (like tax). It's also written off once you hit a certain age or number of years after graduating, though if we keep our current government that'll likely change.

And it's invisible, like I said, so can't impact anything related to your credit rating. Essentially, even though it's a very large amount of money, you can pretty much forget about it and let it sort itself out.
