You sound fat

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

The entire The Room series is great, if you enjoy puzzles with some plot

i'm addicted to cooking dash and diner dash. i have some long term management games like forge of empires, bakery story, etc. plague inc is good and you can find free apps for most of your classic games (card game, 2048, etc). most of them are run on either microtransactions or ads, but i haven't found any of these excessive or invasive.

are you looking for recs on general apps, too?

yes, general apps too.

if you menstruate, mydays is indispensable. you can set various settings to let you know when your period is coming and it adjusts its predictions based on your history. i find it way easier to do a few taps on an app to say "yup, period started" and let it spit stats at me than to actually track it myself on a calendar. you can also tell it when you've had sex and it tells you when you're fertile, etc.

checklist+ is a clean and simple checklist app with just enough functionality.

apple's native health app has some neat features so play with that a little.

i have apps for my bank, credit card company, and car insurance company so i can easily pay bills and check balances, you can also log into these with your fingerprint if you have touch ID on your phone

apple's native mail app is fine if you only have one email address, but you can also get a gmail app if you have more than one. i also have dropbox, which can be set to automatically upload all your photos and videos so you can access them from your computer without having to deal with the apple native photo apps. plurk has an official app that works fine but i know there's other options too. i have the aim app but don't use it.

i have netflix, 8tracks, and "windy" which is a noise generator. there's apps for all the major streaming services. rabbit also has an app, if you use that.

tv show tracker is also great, it lets you knows when your shows are coming on and gives you a checklist of what you've watched yet and still have to watch, and you can add and remove shows to track easily.

sa

also all of the above are free or run on ads. the only one where the ads ever get annoying is checklist+ but it's useful enough that i deal with it. mydays has popover ads you can dismiss immediately (as does checlist+), plurk puts ads in that look like a regular plurk, and tv show tracker has some kind of unobtrusive connection with a rewards program that i safely ignore. also maybe banner ads on the bottom, i don't remember.

dunno if it's on ios but 10 billion wives is kind of fun

yet another recommendation for Ghost Trick. The iOS port is awesome, and the first two chapters are even free to try out. You just have to pay for the rest of the game after that.

Monument Valley for definite, I'm also really loving INKS.

+10,000 for monument valley. INKS is cheap and fun. I also like Illi, which is a platform-jumper puzzle game that's free if you're willing to wait for your lives to recharge. I bought it because I liked it enough and it's a much better experience with infinite lives.

Hungry Shark
Dragons World
MinoMonsters

all are freemium but not too bad about shoving it in your face. except maybe minomonsters

atm games wise i'm playing godus and myselfiestory (yeah i know but it's cute). i'm a huge fan of a few of the nimblebit games: favourite is pocket frogs but tiny tower is good too. also episode isn't bad if you like VN style things and can deal with some weird animation quirks.

the hunger games card fighter game was my absolute fave but that's gone now. would love to find something like it.
