Once they get close to opening they tend to advertise or get threads here. This isn't as difficult as you're making it out to be.

yeah, but we're pretty widespread even on plurk. like the other anon said, what it comes down to is luck. having the right people on your list for the right game, and luck as to whether or not they're the types to even replurk in the first place.

Yeah, I've seen more than one game mods on plurk scrambling to get the ATP stuff together because they didn't know it was going to be early. ATP's definitely been getting less and less use, but this month is a special case.

i stopped bothering after people nitpicked the fuck out of everything

sure, salkia spams were annoying but anything that even remotely resembled spam, or had weird coding, or this or that or that or this stupid petty harmless detail got shred apart

so no one bothers now

yeah. I don't use plurk when i'm out of a game, so atp and here are basically my go-to places to look. now that I'm interested in picking rp back up, i'm finding the lack of public advertising a little frustrating. I've just been using the test drive thread lately.

bit disappointed in the game ads so far. nothing stands out for me since i want to app a particular character or something sounds cool but wouldn't be right for the character. maybe next month will be better. :/

don't hold your breath. atp is just one of those things that's dying out. there'll always be some games that still throw up ads out of habit, but for the most part, people advert here or on plurk.
