I'm a LCW and I'd say it's definitely harder to make CR than it is with a char I apped that has a cast, but it's possible. It's just... you know, harder.

I've found tagging chars here and there works, and if I like the CR a lot I end up breathing heavily on the player on plurk suggesting they should be friends and build the CR more.

Shane's letter does mention Monty going in for an allergy shot that had unforeseen complications. It could have been for a cat allergy?

That's great! I used to play Minako a lot and have been sort of thinking about playing her again thanks to the Persona 5 hype, but even when I was active it was really hard to find Persona 3 cast-mates that weren't committed entirely to a game. The pains of discovering a canon after the initial hype has died off, sadly.

If you play a character who is a really big fan of something (or even a huge geek) and makes constant references to that thing, do you rely on the character's words and references or do you sit down and read/watch/study the thing they are a fan of?

If you disagree with them making money then enable adblock and ensure they get no revenue from your visit. However no add-on exists to make a shitty compressed jpeg look better.

I think it would depend on what it is and how likely I am to run into RPers who know that thing they are a fan of. That and how long the canon is, how easy it is to get a hold of for free, etc.

So if they like a movie that I could find on Netflix, I may watch it. But if they like a TV show like Doctor Who that has been running for a long time, I'm probably going to rely on references and may watch a couple of episodes to get an idea of what the show is like and either rely on what the character says or also rely on the canon's wiki if I need other info.

once they've dropped, they've dropped. you don't hold spots for people in a sort of memoriam. oftentimes i've found that 'i'll be back later' is just a polite way to sort of say that they enjoyed the cast/game and it's not a bad reason they're dropping. nine times out of ten, they never try again, spot open or not. the spot is open as soon as the next app round is, end of story.

i think you guys are missing the main point of that declaration. 'here'. the way christian (or any organization, really) treats people is different region to region. in a lot of places, it does skew heavily towards women/children, but if you think there aren't places where they aren't the exact opposite, you're kidding yourself.

the majority of Christian-funded charities support women though. A handful supporting men-only shouldn't be seen as a "OMG ANTIWOMEN HORROR", dumbshit, it's actually pretty fucking sad. Men need help sometimes too, and it's oftentimes better to separate your assistance by gender- some of those men were victims of abuse by women, and some women that need help were victims of male abuse.

but again, the person who commented said 'here, this is what christian run organizations are like. they're anti-women/anti-children and focus mostly on men'. the fact that other organizations elsewhere aren't always like that doesn't negate that for them, where they are, they'll side-eye christian run organizations because of those reasons.

trying to make an oc for this and wow, it's rough. martin created so many characters for the books, every time i think of a concept for an oc, i realize that there's already a character in the books for it. lol also, i may just have to make a male character, because trying to come up for a concept for female characters hits a lot of walls.

So you're really excited about a character, you make a journal for them and have tons of ideas for rp, and then... nothing.

What were the reasons you dropped them (almost) immediately?

Mine was an adult version of a teenager and it was difficult to keep them IC.

That's great. I used to play Minako and I really enjoyed tagging Minatos.

I never did get to play with a Mitsuru though, which really disappointed me.

nervousness. none of my friends knew the canon and weren't excited to help me voicetest. too many of my friends knew the canon/played the character and i didn't want to step on toes. no suitable memes to try them on. no good icons, and i didn't want to make any. i made the account early in the canon, and then i watched more of the canon and changed my mind.

it doesn't happen often for me, but when it does, it's a combination of any of the above.

literally has a completely different personality around particular canonmates compared to strangers, but nobody appears to be playing his most precious canonmate anywhere. not even in memes.
