I admit that part of it is ~weebness~ (I watch anime and know a lot of the seiyuu so hearing them in the game would've been fun) but I just prefer original voices in general. English isn't my first language so I don't really get anything special out of watching/playing/etc something dubbed in English.

that's a fair reason to prefer jp audio, but why would you suddenly not want to play it? were you seriously going to buy a 40 dollar game just to hear koyasu?

Eh, it's not just the dual audio thing but more the overall racket and disappointment with what they've been doing with the game and how they've been handling it etc.

I might buy it eventually, but as said I'm in no hurry now.

the soleil/m!corrin support got changed. we haven't seen the translated version of it yet but nintendo said as much iirc.

and yeah. iirc parts of the main script were translated wrong and some details are completely missing. the supports so far are mostly fine but a few have mistranslated/embellished lines (iirc kaze's c support with m!corrin messed up a few of his lines and added dialogue that's basically corrin fanboying over ninjas). the hoshidans are more hostile to the nohrians in the chapter 6 cutscene but that's probably a good change since it muddles them a bit, the jp script was really bad about making hoshido out as the unambiguously good/right choice.

not that big a deal so far imo but i can see why some people are unhappy with it. the english voice acting varying in quality a lot probably doesn't help either.

same reason i cancelled my pre-order. even if me cancelling doesn't affect sales by that much, i'm not willing to spend 80 bucks for a localization that i'm not too crazy about.

gonna go play the awful serenes translation patch instead, you fucking weeb?
