Eccentric, 40-something wizard coming out of a lengthy imprisonment by the Inquisition for improper use of magic. He's flighty, good at deduction, and tends to protect his inner much-betrayed kindness by making silly jokes whenever possible. He's obsessed with reading tarot and tea leaves, taking rubbings of tortoise shells, and making glorious pinwheels; he can also tend bar, because wizarding rarely pays.

He's from an obscure book canon, so ideally somewhere that's friendly for characters whose canon no one knows.

i've found snowblind to be good for obscure lcws, but powers are nerfed so it might not be your cup of tea.

Not sure if he's the best fit, but I'd love to see what sorts of magic he could divine from Ataraxion's alien flora. There are a few HP wizards who are much younger, so I don't know how they'd take to another wizard from a different canon! The game itself is quite good for LCW's or canons folks aren't familiar with, though any non-human characters have to be humanized--don't think that's an issue he'd run into though.

In short, his skills might be useful and he sounds wonderfully eccentric and interesting.

Hostage negotiator and computer whiz, also great with explosives (both creating and disarming). Easygoing personality but loyal. Tries to get along with most people and definitely prefers non-lethal (and preferably non-violent) resolutions to bad situations.

A lazy and extremely stubborn gang leader that doesn't hold back in a fight, sees no reason to adhere to rules he dislikes, and has a lot of destructive power at his disposal.

Jaded, misanthropic engineer in a post-apocalyptic world looks after what remains of mankind, while haunted by guilt over past events, and is desperate for some kind of emotional connection amid a hopeless situation.

Character does possess medical knowledge (beyond basic first aid) but probably not enough to fulfill the role of a doctor, which I know tend to be in short supply in a lot of games. But I'm thinking the medical knowledge angle might be a good way to get CR I otherwise wouldn't, depending on the game.

40something warehouse owner with drinking and money problems, transformed by a curse into a werewolf in his late 30s. was so terrified of the experience that he became a control freak after getting his mind back. is now a mercenary with extra body hair and hates being in situations where his enhanced senses are useful.

undead dwarf (of the fantasy hihohiho variety) necromancer-vampire. surprisingly polite and cheerful, in her own absentminded way. she enjoys sheep cheese, microcline, the unholy screams of the damned, and cows for their haunting moos. she absolutely detests flies. a short, sturdy creature fond of drink and industry. she needs alcohol to get through the working day, and grumbles only mildly at inclement weather.

youngish proto-elf that up and left her violently xenophobic and heavily patriarchal people for a neighboring and slightly nicer settlement. still xenophobic, but less prone to violence than she is just robbing someone for kicks. likes taking potshots at people, telling (awful) stories, and riling other people up. is good with animals. needs to be taken down a peg or five.

1. Geeky military guy who's part of a special ops team. Bit of a joker (kind of a lot of a joker), fun-loving, but can be serious when it calls for it. Not interested in horror.

2. There's no way to describe him without really giving it away, so, supersoldier comic dude. Again, no horror.

I have this legitimately people-shy woods hermit who I'd love to try the challenge of successfully placing in a game. Comes from a horror setting much like Last Man On Earth, okay with one-on-one's where he can set the time and other strict boundaries, but doesn't use network-like business for more than lurking and does awfully in group gatherings. He could chop wood, make himself a little survival hut and fuck off from everyone and everything and be more than happy.

I'm curious if anyone has a suggestion for a game where 1) he could be pushed a little without 2) going full on turtle-mode with shutting down. Under all of that he has a sardonic sense of humour and a 'get er done' attitude. No special powers save for maybe sweating bullets.

war vet from a post-apocalyptic world who canonically displays symptoms of ptsd, including but not limited to flashbacks, disproportionately violence reactions, and suicidal tendencies.

Pre-teen child from the dessert with the powers of being an on-off switch for anything electric, was raised by dumb and now dead teenagers. Canonically nameless and I'd prefer keeping it that way.

Character is kind of like Frankenstein's Monster except he was more sewn back to life rather than a newly created existence. Kind of like a very emotional toddler with freakish strength that gets abused and used by literally everyone he comes in contact with. Commits a lot of murder because of getting startled/confused.
