so they are expecting people to blindly sent more apps after they've closed them? That's not an efficient way of running things at all.

I think they were trying to be accommodating and bend over backwards to people who couldn't read the instructions correctly in the first place.

This is their first lesson in dealing with DWRP's entitled idiots. They'll be cynical in no time, just you wait.

to be honest, I'm pissed because I had my app 90% done but didn't bother to finish (and didn't see the plurk until they werelike 5 min left) it because mods usually don't extend app times - it feels unfair that they decided to accomodate people who didn't read instructions and kept sending them in. If had known, I would have completely ignored their first message about them closing and would have sent it as well.

i'm kind of not seeing the problem here. you'd decided to follow the rules and now you're mad that you didn't send your app in like the rest of the ignorant idiots that couldn't read and comprehend and take advantage of new mods. try to be proud of that instead of upset.

no, you can't. they extended it because people kept sending in apps since no one could be bothered to actually figure out what the time difference was. they put on their plurk, 'Okay, warning guys - those apps you keep sending in will have to stop in an hour', because they're trying to work with people on an opening game basis.

i personally would appreciate it if people would stop nitpicking over every little thing. yes, they fucked up with the reserve/app issue and that was resolved and things moved on. then it was over how gross the taken page was and the coding and html and how they're not doing the reserve list properly and now it's people bitching over their own misunderstanding that they took advantage of being cut off. the time was clearly posted. people who misunderstood it have to take the blame on themselves because it was CLEARLY POSTED and not another error of the mods. the apps WERE closed, but the people who couldn't figure that out kept sending in apps. instead of sending them all back with rejections or 'too late' messages, the mods are TRYING to be accommodating and they want to accept the people into their game who want to be in it.

and you're still bitching.

at this point, it's not the mods i'm side eying.

sorry, that wasn't directed specifically at you, but i've been keeping an eye on the wg and rpanons threads for this game because i'm really stoked to play in it and i'll admit i'm a little irked at every little thing being picked at.

as the other anon said, they're new. they'll learn that trying to please everyone doesn't work and they'll focus their energy on what they can control and hopefully firm up a bit more in the future.

as long as these assholes don't kill the game in the meantime, i'm down

it's the first month and they got a huge wave of apps

i think the game has promise and every mod team needs some time to get their bearings and learn that they can't please everyone. so it'd be nice if this didn't turn into another case where people blow a gasket over minor things and try to smother something before it even starts
