i hope they don't, because that's kind of how you keep tabs of who's been apped for this round. you can't app in a character that's been rejected. that's not how apping works. so at least if there's a 'this character has had an app in this round', people know and can avoid sending in an app for this month.

apparently they're clearing those so the characters who did get rejected can be apped this cycle

that's kind of weird. i guess it's okay since they got rejected, but i think it's just weirding me out because it's new and i've never seen a game do that before.

all my games have done it. we must be in different games.

I'm curious, where do you get the idea from that characters who were rejected cannot be apped by a different person in the same cycle? I've never seen that being a practice, all games that I've ever looked at considered "rejected" to be the end of someone's claim on a character.

as i said above, i've never seen it done. the games i've been in have reserves and app challenges, but if someone gets rejected solidly before the app cycle's over, i have literally never seen anyone else throw in an app for the same character in the same app cycle. ever.

if they're allowing it, fine, that's great and i'm not trying to say it's a bad thing, i guess it's just sort of taken me by surprise since i've never seen it be a 'oh, this character got rejected, who else wants to take a stab' sort of thing.

i imagine it'd be more of a thing for brand new game just opening than most established games, especially when apps are only open every two months

Not having seen someone do it doesn't mean it's not allowed, anon. You probably haven't ever seen it because app windows are fairly short, so by the time someone's apped and been rejected, there won't be much time left for anyone else to put in their own app for the same character.
