her "this was my plan all along, i've finally caught you" line when she grabs madoka seems to imply that it was her plan? that's probably what anon is referring to

i... don't remember any line like that at all from the version i watched, which although a little iffy at times shouldn't be that different in meaning

did a new subbed version come out? i know the bds did, but the camrip one i saw went

in which i thought it was pretty clear that homura's wanted to be able to be together, with madoka, forever, and after the acidtrip that was the rest of the movie that goal is now in reach (in a fucked up way but digressing) rather than implying that she planned the entire thing...? if madoka were referring to the entire movie being homura's plot with "you worked so hard" then i doubt she'd be so comforting/approving or surprised when homura went "haha mine now suckers"

either way the focus is on madoka and homura's obsession with her, not on teaching kyuubey a lesson and giving him comeuppance the way anon i replied to was saying. kyuubey has always been a consequence of homura's goals rather than the focus of them. consequence probably isn't the right word but i can't find it right now, what i mean is that kyuubey was just a secondary thing that really wouldn't have been important to homura if he didn't threaten madoka. she does hold animosity for it and yes, will gladly put bullets into him with little provocation, but if they weren't already in the same vicinity she doesn't expressly go out of her way to fuck with its shit if it didn't affect madoka in some way.
