My friend really wants me to watch this. I have zero interest in any of the actual teens on this show. She assures me the adult characters are worth watching for. Is this true?

Depends which adult characters you're referring to. If you mean the parents? They're enjoyable but not in it enough to really justify watching it solely for them.

If you throw Derek into the adult characters. He's hit and miss. I personally enjoy him but I know a lot of people don't. Once again though, you have to deal with the teenagers to get to him. Most of his interactions are with the teens.

As for Peter. Once again, hit or miss. Personally I find him enjoyable but a number of people hate him with a passion. Also not really in it enough to justify watching for him.

Trust me the show isnt worth your time. I watched the show for three seasons and I'm not watching it anymore. The show honestly isn't worth your time input.

I feel like I could have written this a few months ago. A friend of mine kept bugging me to watch it and I didn't want to because all of the teen characters seemed annoying. When I finally did, I was... underwhelmed? The adult characters are pretty fun but they aren't the focal points of the show and yeah, you need to sit through the teens to watch them.

Give it a shot if you want but don't expect much. I personally don't understand the wild fandom for it.

as someone who's a fan of the series, i'm gonna be honest with you. if you watch a few eps and the teen characters don't appeal to you, this is not the show for you.

the adults are okay but not really justifiable as your only reason to watch! if you do that you might end up disappointed.
