i really love what they did with the loot, the paragon levels, the... pretty much everything, gameplay-wise. i was a little iffy on some of the skill tweaks (i had a critical mass-centric wiz and that was completely changed, as was the lifesteal skills i was using) but after playing with them awhile i got used to it.

that said, the story... without spoiling anything, i have to admit i was a little disappointed. then again, i think they left the ending open to another expansion, possibly? it was very open-ended sounding. if that's not a sign of another expansion i'll be pissed because damn that would make for a shitty ending.

on the other hand, the little side-things with the followers and artisans was AMAZING, i'm so happy they did that. i spent ages wondering what was up with shen, and they didn't disappoint.

story is still better than what we got in D3

and apparently someone got their hands on the plans for D3 and there's supposed to be at least 2 expansions for this game? which makes since we're either going to bring leah back, kill that other angry angel dude, kill diablo, or do all 3.

oh nice! i'm excited to hear that, if not a little *SQUINTS* because i bet all those will be 50 damn bucks too. :|

that's okay though, i love the series so much i'd happily shell it out. the lore and whatnot has always captivated me ever since d1, so even if the writing isnt quite what it used to be, i'll still take it. all of it

Leah can piss off, but I'd really love to thump Imperius around a couple times. Honestly, I'd been kinda hoping that he would turn up as a villain in RoS given what an asshole he's been.
