I'm planning on picking him up once I get a chance to do a rewatch and fix the details in my head.

No idea where yet, outside of Bakerstreet, but I suck at finding games in general.

I think it'll be the opposite, actually. He's black, he did significant action things in his first movie outing, got a codename in his first movie outing, shows no signs of getting an actor change, and doesn't have the sheer glut of complexity that Fury has with his backstory. I think he'll end up surprisingly popular as a result because he was an interesting character but also because he'll be the affirmative action MCU choice for people who want to RP from the canon but also show how hip and cool they are by picking up someone who's not a white dude.
