What do Firefly anons think of this series so far? I'm still pretty excited and can't wait to see where this goes, personally- and Kaylee thwacking a certain bounty hunter over the head with a wrench was very satisfying.

Loved that Kaylee got to do that.

Also as much of a Mal/Inara shipper as I am, the image of the two of them in the seat on the bridge just made me sad that it wasn't Wash/Zoe.

I agree, anon- it especially sucked after Zoe saying "Hoban Washburne, I will never forgive you for leaving me to handle this alone" in the first issue right before she went into labor. WASH SHOULD BE THERE TO SEE HIS DAUGHTER, DAMNIT, and hold her in his lap and teach her how awesome space is and how to make goofy faces at Uncle Mal and Uncle Jayne...

Not that the rest of the gang looking after Emma isn't adorable as fuck, though.
