fiona is my favorite of the mun's but they're all good. i like her best because it's such a seamless job of fitting an average joe character into the setting. despite big weird culture shock she holds her own just fine voice-wise.

jim moriarty is hilarious. i barely remember bbc sherlock but they make me want to rewatch it. and they're very on top of things which is hard to do with a schemer like that.

arya is tough and rough but keeps bits of the kid in her still surfacing through. that kind of nuance is neat.

daenerys speaking of character nuance. when she talks i can hear the voice of the ruler but there's still some teenager lurking in there. well-done.

mccoy is my favorite newbie and i don't think i'm alone in that. they bring so much life to the character. he's funny and fucked up and good-hearted and i can't gush enough.

ellie's writer is amazingly good with words. each post is so carefully crafted and lets her canon personality shine through. i want to write like that.

tess is a wonderful example of bringing a lot of characterization out of small bits of canon. i get so excited every time i see her post or get a notification that she replied. guaranteed it's going to be good.

riley is my other favorite new addition and not just because she and ellie are adorable. you can tell that her writer really cares a lot about the character and took a lot of time to sit down and think through what makes her tick. her story's sad as hell but she still stays riley. which makes it sadder but also really fun. if i knew that riley ic i'd want to be her friend.

i like to snoop on don posts when i see them around. stuff's been busy for the mun but it's always nice to read their stuff anyway. a character as closed off as don is hard sometimes to make compelling when we're not following his life direct on tv but they definitely give a lot to work with in tags and let the interesting personality hooks just roll.

i had no idea how lilly was going to work in a setting like asgard but i'm glad i started reading her threads and i'm really interested to see where the character goes from here. they're number one on my obscure canonmate wishlist for other people. i want someone to bring them their pals just so i can see how it all goes down.

i don't know how you make a comic book guy like bucky into such a relatable down to earth fellow but i know it's going to make it hurt all the more if he ever gets canon updated. i just want to go drinking with him and shoot the shit.

everlyn carnahan is living proof that #1 you will never run out of history tidbits to wiki #2 librarians do have the most fun #3 you can be a lone canon warrior and still one of the most engaging and well liked characters in a game. i'm still so sad that she burned to death even if it was temporary holy smokes. pun intended.

whale. doctor whale. my favorite sleaze. you know that song that was in the rugrats movie that's all i'm gonna get you i'm gonna find you i'm gonna get you get you get you one way or another. well it was a song in its own right before the rugrats movie but that's what i associate it with. and that's how i think of potential cr with whale some day. what a rascal. what a wag.

hook is so funny and so charming and i ship him and hawke so hard. he actually sort of makes me want to watch ouat which is saying something.

katie and syhon look so interesting. i want a comic book or novel or something all about their story. i want to stay up all night reading it. then i want to safely separate the two and put katie in a normal school because geez.

ryan is a cute cute cute and i'm interested to see his canon update. serious isn't a word i associate with him a lot right now so i want to see how he matures. after all his job is pretty grave. pun also intended. he's very well balanced with flaws and virtues. you might even say they found...a medium.

shameful confession that i haven't read any jack sparrow threads yet but i thought their meme post on the 10 facts was really interesting and i'm still so tickled to see a captain jack in game. and i want him to meet captain jack harkness so they can argue over who's the better captain.

roland. wow. i still can't believe the mun's new to rp because they write like an old sharkbitten hand. i only got through the first dark tower book because books of that size intimidate me at a primal level these days but they make me so curious about him.

tris i have not had a lot of contact with but what i have has been a lot of fun. i would consider watching divergent just because i got to know the character now. she's very easy to tag with.

henry. where do you even start with henry. i don't think i've laughed more at any other player's threads. god. henry is ... henry.

alana is a breath of fresh air a sunbeam on a cloudy day a flower delicately unfolding from a corpse. wait what was that last one? her characterization seems down pat and her voice is strong. very glad to have her in game.

will graham is the definition of gallows humor. maybe if you stuck a rainbow clown wig on the guy on the gallows and made him dance a jig while also solving hideous crimes from afar. i guess what i'm trying to say here is that i'm reusing the phrase funny and fucked up because that's exactly what will is.

barty is a character without a lot of background other than that he's devious and clever and thinks on his feet. the mun brings all that to the table and more. as a villain he's so active and sharp and as a character he's full of unexpected depths and winding corridors of motivation. just don't walk down them too far because it's dark back there and i'm pretty sure he's got a knife.

hermione's player is crown princess of managing lots of super different voices like it ain't nothing at all. hermione though is probably my favorite of them. she's strong and confident and sometimes brattily righteous and every inch a gryffindor. plus her and lupin. i ship it so long as they're both told about the dangers of sharing fleas.

neville is pretty recent to the game but you'd never know it. he just slid right in as effortless as anything and i'm so glad that he did. i think vomiting on snape will go down in the all time great threads hall of fame. the player in general does well in capturing his newfound desperate confidence while keeping the sort of blustery fact that he's still neville. he's still the kid with stinksap on his face underneath that leader's mantle.

snape. if you don't like our snape then i don't know what you're on. genuinely beautiful prose tags and the very definition of finding depth in a character without turning him into a leather pants woobie. snape is not a nice guy and he's got a bad past and he makes bad decisions. but he's not unredeemable and he's so much fun to read.

i know like nothing about homestuck but i do know how much i like our davesprite. i want to hug him and give him doritos and tell him it's going to be alright because the little tiny sliver glimpses you get through of the character not being his usual totally ironic shades cool guy self hurt my heart.

jade always brings a smile to my face to see a new post from. she's been a presence in the community for a long time and the character wears that easily like a warm old coat. the affection she's built for the people around her really shines through.

honorable mentions: moran's muttonchops, effie's hair. two more players behind them who always bring something new and interesting to the table. now if they'd stop taking my hairspray.

Props to you for writing such a long list and putting thought into your namedrops, anon c: I bet that will put a lot of smiles on people's faces.

Ellie - Sara is such a great writer and I only wish I could be as skilled as her in showing all those nuances, the phrasing she uses, everything. Ellie herself is adorable and hilarious. I adore her tags and totally intend to check out the game because of her.

The Doctor - Admittedly I've mostly played against Eleven and Eight, but they are both great and I love my cr with both of them. Eleven is just perfectly excitable and curious and child-like in his hyper and questions and wonder even still and I love it. Eight is also fun as a foil to that with his more serious moments.

Canonblind but man is Riley fun to thread with though! She's hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time when you think about how young she is and what happens to her. Also. She and Ellie are just adorable.

Pyro is great. I mean. I barely really recall the movies since it has been forever since I watched them but he really is fun to tag and has such interesting reactions and cr to things.

Anna is adorable and bouncy and cute too. Her and Elsa are pretty fun to read, even if they are newer.

Also. Jack Sparrow is hilarious and I love seeing him around too! The same goes for Hook. They both just. Make me laugh okay.

Clementine and man if that Lee on reserves apps it will be amazing to see that cr and the change between them with older Clem from season two?

And. Okay yeah I am probably just repeating what the anon before has been saying and basically list the whole freaking game otherwise so I'mma shut it now but yes.
