I thought anon was ridiculing the use of the word movie rather than book or musical because the title of this anonpost is read a book. twas a sad, sad mistake.

I combine my Les Mis person too... I want some of the more unusual characters to appear though, as well as the Amis boys; I've seen a few of them knocking around before now... A really GOOD Javert would be AMAZING.

Would it be considered amiss if I wanted to RP drawing mostly from the books but used a PB from the movie?

I really didn't care for Javert's portrayal in the movie at all (I think that he lacked the intensity the character has), but I don't mind his face, and I don't feel that there needs to be a distinctness between the canons.

I think if you made it clear somewhere in the profile you were playing from the book and using the movie PB nobody would say much. It'll cut off any wank about "not being true to canon" at the pass.

Truth be told, I've developed a massive ladyboner for Eddie Redmayne. He's so unconventionally attractive.

But I loved whichever one it was who held Gavroche after he died. Joly? Courfeyrac? I can never tell them apart.

Eddie Redmaybe is a beautiful ginger prince who cannot possibly be thirty.

I'm voicetesting this movie!Javert over on dear_mun. Fair warning that I have a) only seen the stage version once, b) only seen the movie once, and c) haven't read the book (yet). And my French history knowledge is spotty as hell. If I like what I can get out of the character, I may invest some canon review time. We shall see. I would love to have a Valjean poke at him.

You are both incredible and sob I wish I had a character to throw at him but they're all animated and the one I can think of would probably end up 4th-walling him and I just cant do that to you. ;A;

I have no idea how Javert would react to being fourth-walled. Probably just go, that is very silly why would anyone write a novel with him in it or think he sang *all the time.* Unless someone brought up his suicide, which would shock him to no end.
