From last year (and because the first page is the best page for tracking purposes): Post your Amazon wishlist, and maybe someone will be feeling generous. If you receive, don't forget to consider giving a bit yourself!

For GIFT-GIVERS
Go ahead and reply to someone if you get them something. Let's them know to expect something, and it's nice for others to see (and keep track of who's already received a gift.)

For LIST-POSTERS
Make sure you have some reasonably-priced items on your list along with the big stuff. $5-$10 dolla and such. Makes it easier for people to give!
Make sure your Wishlist is shareable.

IMPORTANT: make sure you have an address attached to your list. Otherwise, there's nowhere for anyone to send anything. You have to allow for used items to be purchased for you under the Wishlist setting.
