rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

If you feel like you can handle the haikus, use 'em! It's a character trait of his, so I don't see a real need to downplay it.

If you're not sure about your haiku-fu (let's face it, I could never play this guy because I'd never be able to come up with haikus, period), pull back on them to the point that you feel comfortable.

Also, remember that, while he does use haikus, he says them fairly... normally? How you structure them in tags can stress that, if you feel it's awkward otherwise. To take a canon line as an example, you could have a tag from him be written as:

Thank you for saving
A not so innocent life
By reviving me.

or as:

Thank you for saving / a not so innocent life / by reviving me.

...or just as:

Thank you for saving a not so innocent life by reviving me.

It still fits into the haiku format, a phrase of 17 syllables that can be broken up into 5/7/5, and that would probably become obvious over prolonged use of the format, but it reads as more natural. If that's definitely something you want to go for, don't feel like you absolutely need to format his haikus like haikus!
