rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Looking for somewhere where I could app Tsunade from Naruto. I'd like for the game to not be something horror-based or ridiculously fast. Pretty much everything else is up in the air.

Canonmates would be lovely, but not absolutely necessary. Not too fond of places that completely lock down powers without ways to bring them back, but it depends on the game.

Also looking for a place to put Gabranth from FFXII, same notes as with Tsunade, though horror games are a-okay with him.

Canonmates are good, but not necessary (would love to have a Larsa or Basch, but it's not a deal breaker). I have absolutely no problems with places that lock down abilities and such with him since there's nothing really to lock down.

Dang, power restrictions. It isn't possible for me to be able to tempt you into

It's medium paced (apparently it's slowed down since it moved here from LJ), and although it's fairly large it isn't ridiculously fast; a day may go by without an event and you'd get around 4 or so new posts. During events it gets busier, but it depends on the time of year as well. AC is also fairly easy (3 threads of 10 comments each minimum per month). Currently I'm the only one there but I'm hoping for that to change soon.

It... possibly could since I played there before and had been considering going back. :|a

I'll certainly look into it again and see if I can write up an app in a timely manner. If not for her then possibly for one of my other Naruto characters.

I would be happy to see anyone, honestly. There's a Neji apping in from the same canon point as Sasuke as well, but I think I can accurately state for both of us that you wouldn't have to app from the same one if you didn't want to. Heck, it might be more interesting that way. ;)

Oh, how about

exsilium? No nerfed powers, medium paced on average (a little more on the medium-fast side when apps are processed) and we just got an Ino and Sakura there. I'm sure Sakura would be very happy to see Tsunade. :)

Don't think I've actually looked into Exsilium, but I might just do so! For some reason I thought I heard the powers were nerfed, but I guess I got it confused with something else. And, aaaaah, Sakuras are always a tempting prospect, I'll take a look. Thanks, anon!

capeandcowl has had a Larsa for little under a year now (but the player is currently on vacation for a few days; I'll probably link this to them when they get back). My character here has been watching over Larsa for several months and I'd personally love to see Gabranth around!

The game itself is what I'd like to call medium-paced and it can fluctuate between slower and faster depending on events or if a bunch of people apped in around the same time. I get by with checking the comm every other day or so and most people are very backtag-friendly as a number of players do work and go to school. Applications are currently closed until the first, but after that, they'll be going back to open applications for a week, open reserves for a week, repeat again.

The power "lock down," is quite the opposite, however! Characters at

capeandcowl are given up to three powers by the Porter that brought them into the universe. As I recall, Larsa's is healing magic and advanced agility.

Huh, I don't think I've ever actually looked into the game, but it's quite a tempting prospect!

The pacing does sound lovely as I can certainly handle things being a little faster around app time as the other game I'm in is exactly like that. And backtagging is always a lovely thing in my book as I'll backtag into forever if need be.

Hey, no problem! I should also mention that it allows canon updates (I think that it is standard for most games now, though?) and that you can also have "power updates" if you decide you're bored of or dislike the ones you've chosen and have come up with something you like better.

Additionally, most events are easy to ignore if they aren't your cuppa and the game is more heavily run on player plots with an ongoing mod plot in the background. Mod plots are also opt-in, but there are usually plenty of minor player plots going on for those that can't commit to something bigger or have characters that canonly would smash a plot to pieces or whatever.

I'm also a backtagger at heart. I can be a little slow sometimes because of odd hours (insomnia...), but it isn't usually a combo of both slow/forever tags. :')
