rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. I think they're pretty tied with the Rose/Kanaya fans, tbh. Both like to make blanket statements of 'ALL US GAYS IN THE FANDOM LOVE THEM Y U HATING' if you even DARE mention not shipping them. They both instantly label you as homophobic, gay hating bigots if you don't understand their ship. They're pretty much the same in my eyes.

Man you haven't looked hard enough then. Or maybe it's just died down recently, but the quick-fire bigot comments are the reason I strongly dislike the ship. I don't really care for shipping myself, but I strongly dislike those two ships anyway because both of their following are rabid, blind, hateful morons usually.

It's getting way out of hand. Sometimes I wonder if there's anyone left in the fandom who cares about the story more than who's boning who or how gay a person is or isn't.

what about people who just like dirkjake because their apparent homosexuality is never really capitalized on as a super important part of their character and is just a neat casual gay relationship and that's fucking cool

plus finding their general interactions hilarious and wonderful

they had still never directly interacted until this update. the number of actual pesterlogs between dirk and jake numbers to zero.

i think rosemary is boring and i don't like how the fandom treats it so i don't ship it, and people get really mad at me because i'm big on femslash shipping but omg how can i not like the most popular femslash ship EVER in homestuck????

lol yeah. being a lesbian and not shipping them really pisses them off.
i've been told once or twice that obviously i'm lying about my sexuality/just a lesbian for 'the fad' just because i don't ship rosemary.

Im sick of shipping in this fandom too tbh. It just gives me a headache to see people fighting over fictional characters and their fictional romance. jfc calm down.

idk in my experience i've found that dirk/jake fans are the quickest to jump at you for being homophobic if you ship dirk with a girl or don't like the ship. but i guess ymmv.
