This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

What is the point of this thread? You want to feel validated in your pathetic jealousy? You want it to change? You think people should ask others not to tag them so you don't have to sit alone crying over your empty inbox at three am because maybe, just maybe, people might turn their attention to you once someone realizes how much attention certain players are getting?

How could anyone be overrated when nobody ever gets praised? The love/favorites threads on these things always go unanswered, if anyone does get namedropped it's for the sake of bitching.

I wouldn't say anyone at TLH is overrated. There are some folks who've gotten a lot of praise in the past on anoncomm that I wouldn't think twice of tbh, but I wouldn't call them overrated.

I still miss lina_revolution. Funny thing is, when I made this thread a couple posts back, on that day I got tagged by a Lina on a meme, as if the universe was patting my shoulder and telling me she would always be there in spirit.

I'll admit, this is probably a selfish complaint:

When someone makes an entry, gets many tags, and only replies to some of them, ignoring others.

Don't get me wrong, I understand their side, too. Sure, maybe some of the tags they get aren't interesting enough and this is a DR, so they're doing nothing wrong, yadda yadda.

But in my perspective, if I did something like this, I feel like I'm treating my taggers as accessories, deciding which one looks interesting and which one doesn't. I'd at least give everyone a chance, about a few tags, before deciding if the thread will go somewhere or not. I can't imagine how disappointed they would be to find out their tag is being ignored...

Of course, there's the exception of getting a tag from a mun that really bothers you, or an empty oneliner, so I guess my pet peeve really is kind of selfish/hypocritical.

I want to play out my kinky stuff, but whenever I make a post that actually hits my buttons no one tags it (or I only get obviously pity tags from a friend or two).

I'm not up for outing myself on rpanons by putting up a "would anyone want to play this?" comment for my kinks so people are looking out for the post. I have one friend who will thread almost anything with me but one of my kinks is one of her squicks, so I never have had the chance to incorporate it. Unless there's another idea for getting more interest in an individual post I'm not thinking of, I'm basically SOL with the current player base as far as I can tell.
