rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. It doesn't look like DW can handle 5,000 comment entries at the moment so please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. Well not a meme or open post, but I'd like to see more people putting in their disclaimers if they're open to some CR. Sometimes it's fun to have things build up a little while before smut.

The thing is that most posts are already automatically geared towards getting smut, which makes starting the CR up really awkward and fiddly. I do agree though; I had a character have three or four threads without smut before they did anything and it was really fun to see the way their CR developed. So I think a couple open posts where smut isn't almost entirely the only option would be cool, to avoid that tricky start up.

Open posts for CR purposes? Sign me up.

I suggested it, I might as well be the one to try it out. Off of the top of my head I'm thinking something like 'A Day Without Aphro' where players can just post what characters in the hotel do when not being messed with. Smut still possible, but only via good old fashioned charm and what not.

I'm actually planning on throwing my one Original Character out into TLH with an intro post that's more or less directed towards CR, with smut as a "could happen but this post isn't really directed towards that" sort of thing.

so if op, or anyone else who wants cr, is cool with an oc? Then I will get around to doing my intro post soon enough.
