Whenever I'm threading with a really quiet character who doesn't say much I always worry that the mun actually doesn't wanna tag with me, like when I get tags from them like [so and so just nods, silent] or [so and so sorta smiles and glances to the side] multiple times.

so I end up dropping them faster even if my character's the type to fill in those awkward silences and ask questions. :/

i've been thinking about picking up a villain character recently, but the problem is that they're a villain who does big and flashy displays of villainy and makes zero attempt to hide themselves and i'm not sure how to... balance? that in a game by staying true to character but not mucking up everyone else's fun with unwelcome villainous hijinks. also, how do you go about building cr that isn't 100% "i'm going to kill you, evil villain!!" (negative cr's great and all, but kind of tiring if that's all you have.)

and i guess on a similar note, are there any games around that are open and welcoming to villain characters, or with some well established villains?
