This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

figure draw, go out and stare at people like the creeper you are
do some 30 day challenges - not necessarily over 30 days, just pick out some you like and draw them
draw what makes you happy, the shittiest self-indulgent scribbles you want until you come up with something better
experiment with color
experiment with style (check out some super stylized artists, i can try and find some if you like)
try something new or something challenging
focus on technical skill - do a master study or architectural copy

It's a difficult line to really learn. Our characters are not us, but we are responsible for how they're portrayed! I think most people, especially when they're just starting out, slip and fill in character gaps with themselves. Especially when playing live, like in tabletop or rapid tags.

PROS:
- cast is to die for

CONS:

....man I was in this exact situation six months ago. I joined, loved it for awhile, and now totally want to drop, but not due to any of the wank that was going on before I got there.

Basically, forewarned is forearmed, if you think it's worth it try to navigate the wank without getting involved. Remember that if you're their neutral out-of-game complaint station, probably you're getting a skewed picture of how much of what goes down is wanky.
