rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. That's probably the inevitable trouble with anything related to a cult favorite fandom; it's no work at all to sell it to fans, but they're in the minority next to people who don't remember/aren't familiar with it and need to be convinced. Though I'm glad you think it sounds like it could be interesting provided it'd have players to carry it along. XD

Something like a dressing room occurred to me, too, but like the other anon, I wasn't sure if the lack of structure would work, especially for a factions-based game. Then again, I thought it may make sense in its own odd way, since Eternal Darkness already touches on time/space/alternate reality bending, justifying duplicates, AUs, and the like, and characters coming and going could just be explained away as the changing whims of the Ancients. But then once again, dressing rooms are called dressing rooms because they give players a place to try characters on, a purpose that would be defeated a little by (what I like to think is) the fact that joining Ulyaoth, Xel'lotath, or Chattur'gha's cult would invite change or focusing on and bringing out certain traits.

I apologize for the rambling there, but anyway - maybe something more similar to a musebox, as the other-other anon said, or Ink City, then?

And oh absolutely sanity events.

Maybe some blend of the two? Like a REALLY BIG musebox, or a really small game?

I'm not really sure what the actual game community here is like, in terms of types of games, so, unfortunately, I can't be much help there. I've been playing a bit in Exit Void, but I've mostly been in DRs and museboxes aside from that since I joined DWRP. Is there such a thing as a smaller scoped game that's actually stable?
