This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Pretty huge flake. They're a lot of fun to write with but we've never finished a thread and it gets dropped within a few days. I don't hear from them for a couple of weeks then they resurface and I start new threads with them cause I haven't learned my lesson yet.

is this in memes like bakerstreet, or psls?

not op but I’m facing the same issue as all the anons in this thread. no thread has been completed whether in memes, psls, or games and every few weeks they tag me. and yet there I got replying full well knowing it’s going nowhere after a day.

OP and it's memes mostly. I did get them to do one psl with me but it fizzled out after about ten comments.

have they given you any vibes that they'd be receptive to continuing some of this stuff if you brought it up? i have it in my permissions i'm a-ok with being reminded about threads but no one ever does. like i get that no one has to but like most people i drop bakerstreet threads after a week

I pm'd once and never heard back so I haven't tried again. I just tag back whenever they hit me up on a meme cause I'm a masochist.

i guess some people take the 'minimal ooc contact' very seriously...

I don't really have much trouble getting play from other people. Thing is the flake and I both play the same character. I love playing him but would also like to write against him and the flake is one of the few people who plays him and is also willing to write gross ships with him besides me. I guess I could always write fic lmao

i know this feeling. there's one person that will tag me every so often, i love their writing, but they're so flaky that it's a waste of time to get invested. i still tag back anyway, knowing fully well the thread won't last a day, because i'm that bored.

I've felt this. Someone always says they'll tag me or tag a toplevel we agreed I'd write but it never happens. Just smile and nod and accept they won't tag you back. And find the people who will tag you.

when this happens ask them to write the top level for once. if they're serious about rping they will, if not you lose nothing
