Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Can anyone tell me exactly what this game IS? I keep seeing people say contradictory things about it. Either it's a mission-oriented game or it's just some SOL with faeries. There's an overarcing plot or there isn't. It's dark fantasy or it's light fantasy. That you can get along fine without interacting with the NPCs or that they're a big deal.

I know a lot of it is personal bias but I haven't seen such opposite opinions being voiced about a game in a while.

hi i'm really new here. how does roleplaying work on this platform, is there a guide? does most roleplaying take part in pms or over discord? help :)

i think there is a guide although i'm not sure where it is. rping usually takes place within comments. you can look on bakerstreet for examples but most rp takes place in games.
