My first and last time modding, I was an anon mod.

I watched a group of players insult and complain about our work and then they'd keep asking us to do more stuff for them.

They got their friends and other players to be passive aggressive to us and give us more "suggestions" that were just demands to change our ac rules or change the rules to allow the super special character to save the game or run highly personalized events with multiple options and custom results for every character in the game. Then we asked for volunteers to help mod so we could do some of these things. Not a single volunteer but they kept whining.

Never again unless I can just kick people for being a pain in the ass.

helper mod here, and I feel this in my bones

people are always complaining about the tiniest things and they think mods don't see, or that mods are being difficult on purpose, or that mods are targeting them specifically for rules that are/have been in place for everyone but can't they grant this one exception??

it's exhausting and you really have to do it for love of the craft or the game or else you get insanely burnt out

People run mods out of this hobby quicker than they go through toilet paper, and then we're shocked there's so few public games left? Never fucking again, thanks.

If we ran out that behavior instead things would be so much better. The last time I was on a mod team it really was a small subset of players that were issues, but the rest of the team said we didn't have good enough reasons to kick them. They were miserable and made all of us miserable but "technically" they didn't break any rules. If we'd just kicked them though I think the players left would have understood. Most of the game was made up of really lovely patient people, it was just a few bad apples...

which is another rule i'd put in place if i ever hated myself enough to mod again. mods reserve the right to remove a player beyond the obligatory three strikes rule if they feel a player is displaying bad faith behavior or they are making the mod team uncomfortable or persistently annoyed. just because you apped doesn't mean you a) get in automatically or b) get to stay past when you start being a dick. i'm putting a broad width of what the term 'be a dick' means, and if it means i dread opening the mod email because i know jack and jill are going to be in there making me regret that i breathe oxygen, they gotta go. i don't need to give a reason beyond 'i'm no longer enjoying your company in this game. enjoy your time elsewhere.'

they can stomp their feet and tantrum all they want that it's not fair, but neither is my having to put up with their shit. it's my game, so fairness to me wins out.

people in this hobby will say 'mods should just have a backbone' and then when mods show a backbone they get attacked and bullied

i can't believe anyone was surprised sinfluencers got ghosted after that anon mod was outed on here for the concurrent crimes of being slow and cherrypicking tags during a time of stress

i don’t approve of the way people handled a lot of that but ghosting an entire game is not cool either. just hand it over or close it if you’re not feeling it anymore

i thought all the complaints started after the mod ghosted the entire game? from what i remember they were defended and supported a lot of the time when it was brought up before everyone finally ran out of patience

people were very patient and understanding…until it became obvious the mod was ghosting. the tagging was brought up then, how they were tagging while new characters still hadn’t been added to the taken list and a new app round was coming up

ghosting an entire game instead of putting on your big girl britches and communicating with your player base is the opposite of that

mods objectively having it hard across the board doesn't make it impossible for mods to also be perpetrators of shit behavior

Also applies to the Ryslig mods and any other mod team that has proven shitty behavior. Mods don't deserve to be viciously maligned by their playerbases and aren't customer service agents, but you agree to the social contract of being at least fair, objective, and not a complete asshole when you offer yourself up to be a mod for something.

I want to roleplay out an idea where my character is an omega teenager in a pack (probably 15/16) and she is becoming romantically attracted to her older Beta or Alpha packmate (22 years old) that she is part of. i'd love for there to be some resistance intially due to the age gap but it gradually happens anyways. Instincts in a pack are more heightened due to pack dynamics.

other things i want are: knotting, excessive cum, using the settings of an A/B/O universe. It's different for everyone, but we can hash those details out in dms. if possible, maybe have the person i'm playing roleplay other npc's that will be part of "pack" as well.

I've been really into a/b/o storylines lately and i'd love to try this out with another person who'd be interested. if we do rp, this will be kept strictly through a sock account, no icons. i prefer bracket style rp but i can adjust to anything else

+0.5 because I understand what you're trying to say, but Ryslig was around for ten years and from what I understand rotated head mod hands several times, where some were shitty but others were not bad. so just saying “the Ryslig mods” is already unfairly generalizing a rotating roster of mods and once again proves the point of how judgmental y'all can get
