Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i don't understand their appeal admittedly. like i know people said it helps set the mood or it makes them think of the character or something but it has never worked that way for me.

same with having pinterest boards or image collages and the likes.

i prefer to just listen to whatever i'm in the mood to listen to rather than something nebulously character related

and if i need to ~get in the mood, i'll just do some quick canon review

lmao my ability to pick songs and match it to the mood is horrendously bad

i could be writing a dramatic tearjerker or a serious confrontation and play ponponpon in the background on endless loop

canon review is definitely the way to go for me
