This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.
Do not solicit money, Dreamwidth points, or other currency unless you are offering a good or service in return.

i do and not to be dramatic but it does make me feel bad for having brought it up now.

i realize i was thinking about my own experience (that i'd enjoyed threads i'd started on the meme in the past) and not the wider meme posting culture. i still think it's a fun meme! but if it's just me then that's fine too, i don't post memes myself and i understand that it's not just me, we have a whole community here and a lot aren't happy with meme saturation. i had not thought about that when replying initially, which is my bad and i don't like meme spam either. atp i just hope replying isn't a silly move that invites more dunks on me.

there's nothing wrong with wanting an angle of a meme (like misfires). they really are fun, and do promote interesting replies. but as a meme poster, i wish more people were willing to take more artistic license with what's posted. wildcard is an option for a reason. or just put in your header that 'i'm leaning really heavily towards misfires as replies.', and if you see someone you want to hit up, put something like (misfire okay?) in the subject line of your reply. 99% of people i've done this to or had it done by are super okay with going that angle. the few that don't like it will just remain silent or say no thank you. no harm, no foul, anon.
