stopped watching arcane season 2 almost as soon as i started. i was just gonna have it up as background noise but it's so musically obnoxious; percussions ricocheting off my last remaining brain cells

was season 1 as much of a music video, i honestly can't remember

gonna watch the bear instead i think 🙉

S1 had a jukebox bit throughout that connected the parts of the story together and had musical interludes used as transitions often enough. I haven't started S2 yet so I don't know how it compares, but music was a big part of season 1.

alright i must just be irritable then because i watched all of season 1 with no issue. i'll give it another shot on a better day

you're allowed to have your preferences and i hope you enjoy your leisure time but i have to say it's deeply funny to me that you find the stressful yelling kitchen job show somehow less obnoxious than cool artistic amv show

i was thinking it too lol i like both shows but it felt like using rl woes to underhand-hate on a very beloved show and anticipated season. esp since it's universally loved by artists

i love art. i think the show is visually stunning and i watched the entire first season. if i wanted to hate on it, i'd... just do that

i was just going down a list of things i wanted to watch. ultimately, i didn't watch anything.

obvs totally diff shows but the bear's writing is in another league altogether

s2 of arcane didn't do much for me, it was super pretty to look at though

I'm enjoying Arcane S2 so far largely on the power of Sevika and Ambessa. I wish Grayson hadn't died so fast in S1, I wish more shows had characters like these three.
