Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. i struggle a lot with this sort of terminal absence of self-confidence despite having a strong muse for one of my top blorbos as well, and i find that it really is just a matter of getting over it. if people are tagging with you, it's because they want to - all those other issues you think you're having, be it with your characterization or your writing, are all in YOUR head.

it's always nice to get compliments and affirmations, but sometimes you just have to go back over what you know, try to look objectively at what you're doing, and if you come out of it thinking that you do still know what you're doing, then you have to find the faith to put into that that will allow you to have fun rather than secondguessing everything. for me, i find that sometimes it's doing more fastpaced, low-stakes threads that help me get over those little humps, so things like texting memes are great for a refresher.

of course, if you're feeling more like the voice has started to leave and you Aren't actually writing your best for them to the point that it genuinely bothers you and you can't reconcile with that no matter what... sometimes these things happen and you do have to move on. :( tho i believe that if you can write a character in a way that you personally agree with once then there's no reason you can't do it again! canon review, read some other player's threads, some fanfics, etc. good luck, nonny!
